★ Authentic Baja Soul
A Restaurant Worth the Drive
Voted #1 Taco Spot
Sunset Magazine
Our Hau'ula restaurant sits at 54-296 Kamehameha Highway, right in the heart of Oahu's Windward Coast. Founded in 2010, it's the Baja-style taco spot locals and visitors have loved ever since — open-air dining room looking out at the Ko'olau Mountains, tropical margaritas, and local beers like Big Swell and Bikini Blonde.
Hau'ula sits between Punalu'u and La'ie, known for beach parks and the Hau'ula Loop Trail in the Ko'olau foothills. Visitors stop in after the Polynesian Cultural Center in La'ie or hikes at Kahana Valley State Park just south — and our drive-through makes it easy to grab tacos without leaving the car. Locals from Ka'a'awa or Kahuku, BYU-Hawaii students from La'ie, and tourists circling the island on Kamehameha Highway all get the same scratch-made tacos and fresh, never-frozen fish that earned us the #1 spot from Sunset Magazine.
